EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (EXCO) OF AWO-OMAMMA DEVELOPMENT FORUM(ADF) SCORECARD FOR 2020, 2021, AND 2022.

The executive committee (consolidation team) of the Awo-omamma Development Forum, hereby present their score card for the years 2020,2021 and 2022 in line with the association’s vision.

1.  At the outbreak of the COVID9 pandemic, the consolidation team, ably led by Chief Celestine Amukamara, coordinated fundraising of #1,705,364 (one million, seven hundred and five thousand, three hundred and sixty-four naira only) for the intervention of covid 19 impact on our people. The fund was judiciously used to purchase food items which were evenly distributed among the thirteen villages in Awo-omamma town by a well-constituted committee led by Mr. Simoen Ononobi.

2.  The executive committee organized and coordinated another fundraising of # 206,000(two hundred and six thousand naira only) for the support of the orphans who lost their parents at the same interval of time. Part of this fund was given to their caregiver while the rest was deposited into an account that was set up for them and to be managed by their aunty who is also their caregiver.

3. The consolidation team, in partnership with Sir Herbert Orioha Foundation coordinated and successfully conducted the 2020 Annual SHOF sponsored scholarship screening and cash award for tertiary students of Awo-omamma origin.

4. The exco constituted a constitution review committee and supervised the review and adoption of a new constitution for the progress of the Awo-omamma Development Forum.

5.  The EXCO constituted a Primary Health Center (PHC) Committee which finalized their supervision and identification of areas of intervention in the seven PHCs in Awo-omamma.

6: The consolidation team successfully conducted fundraising for the registration of 36 indigent students for WAEC SSCE of 2021

7. The Awo-omamma Development Forum EXCO, ably led by Chief Celestine Amukamara and in partnership with Sir Herbert Orioha Foundation, coordinated and successfully conducted the 2021 annual SHOF sponsored scholarship screening and cash award for tertiary students of Awo-omamma origin.

8. Through the executive committee, the Awo-omamma Development Forum embarked on a relief package of #730,000 to the victims of Awo-omamma attacks which was disbursed to their individual accounts as recommended by the member of the association.

9. The okada/bus stop at Awo-omamma junction was renovated by the association on sponsorship from Mr Simoen Ononobi.

10. The consolidation team successfully registered 39 indigent students for 2022 WAEC SSCE with a total expenditure of #927,000

11. The consolidation team, in partnership with Sir Herbert Orioha Foundation coordinated and successfully conducted the 2022 annual SHOF sponsored education grant for tertiary students of Awo-omamma origin.
